Welcome to La Pieve Bed & Breakfast!

We are Giovanni and Marta, brother and sister born and raised in Mugello, a land we have always loved and where we have decided to continue the tradition of hospitality started by our parents, Franco and Monica.

B&B La Pieve is a family-run bed & breakfast that, for twenty years, has welcomed all those who choose to start a journey, literally and metaphorically, bringing with them the aim to challenge their limits and the pleasure to share their experience.

Today we are the ones who run our parents’ business, but it is from them that we learned the secrets and the spirit that allowed us to become passionate about this beautiful work.

In our B&B we host mostly trekkers and cyclists who are following the Way of the Gods.

Our parents taught us that hospitality requires commitment, organization and dedication but, above all, before anything else, it requires love for you own land and the desire to share this love.

At La Pieve we try to work according to the ancient motto “festina lente”: “hurry slowly”. We want the service we offer to be impeccable and punctual and at the same time provided with calm, quiet, free from the noisy stress of contemporary times.

“With your courtesy and hospitality we said goodbye better than you welcomed us! Thank you for the example of goodness you have offered us.” This is how a group of young scouts greeted us the first year we opened the doors of our house. Their words were the greatest gift they could have given us. This is what our activity is all about. This is the meaning of B&B La Pieve.
